Wet Carpet

This carpet was flooded during Hurricane Irma. Because the flood water was contaminated, the carpet and carpet pad had to be removed. After removing the carpet pad, the concrete was treated with an antimicrobial agent to ensure that all bacteria was eliminated.

In the event of category 2 or category 3 flooding, carpet pad must always be thrown away, and the concrete surface must be treated. 

Our SERVPRO location features a fully licensed general contractor capable of rebuilding after hurricane damage. When drywall, baseboard, carpet and carpet pad are removed, our team can build it back to its original state.
