Always Remove Baseboard After a Flood!

A before and after of a St. John's water damage job where due to flooding, the baseboards had to be removed. 

When your home or business suffers a flood loss, certain steps should always be taken to ensure that your building is protected from future damage. One of the most commonly overlooked steps for water restoration is removing the baseboard and quarter round. 

Removing the baseboard and pointing an air mover at the affected area ensures that air is flowing inside the drywall. If baseboard is not removed, the studs behind the wall will not properly dry which can lead to mold damage.
