Mold in a Coquina Building
The Original foundation in this building was coquina. The majority of the structure has had concrete block added to support existing coquina foundation.
After Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Irma both flooded the facility, our mold remediation teams were called in to remove the mold.
As you can see in this photo set, The drywall was trapping moisture between the concrete block and the drywall. Additionally, the lack of insulation around the coquina cause significant damage to the structure.
Our teams followed a formal mold protocol and effectively removed all the mold from the building, creating a safe environment for the tenants of the building.
