SERVPRO CONSIDERED AN ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICE PROVIDER:

What does that mean?  From the introduction in the Official Essential Services/Travel Authorization Letter for SERVPRO Franchises, we can gain a clear understanding.

The bearer of this letter is a professional performing essential services, as set forth in the Shelter in Place Order or Emergency Declaration issued by your state or local government.  The bearer is engaged in support of critical infrastructure work as defined below.

This designation was further broken down into categories which would more clearly indicate who would be considered as part of this group:

• Workers such as plumbers, electricians, exterminators, and other services providers who provide services that are necessary to maintain the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences;
• Workers to ensure continuity of building functions;
• Workers who support hazardous materials response and cleanup; and
• Workers supporting the operation and maintenance of facilities.

So, SERVPRO provides many essential services to our communities.  We are proud to be included in this important group, and we take our responsibility seriously.
