When water damage is a result of contaminated water regular air movers cannot be used. Instead per IICRC regulations air scrubbers, aka negative air machines are deployed. In this short video SERVPRO of Greater St. Augustine/St. Augustine Beach, located in the heart of the old city off Dobbs Rd. is attempting to demonstrate what a typical Category 3 setup may look like in a residential water damage situation.

Typically in a category 3 water damage all damaged materials are recommended to be replaced. As part of this project our clients signed a waiver and decided to dry all materials in place, which is a risky choice, albeit we do everything we can to achieve high customer satisfaction and as long as we take time to explain the pitfalls we do what our customer request.
